YOUNG LEADERS CAMP 2022
Our mission is to cultivate meaningful experiences for God’s people to be rooted and grow.
YLC 2022 vision
Identity, belonging, and purpose have always been BIG topics for growing teenagers in their life stage and development. Questions like “Who am I?”, “Where do I fit in”, and “Do I matter?” give many opportunities for us as a church family to walk alongside your middle schooler during these ever-changing times. The answers to these BIG questions shape who they are for years to come, and we seek to provide biblically sound answers that can be relevant tools for them as they face various ups and downs in life.
We continue to pray for YLC to be a space filled with opportunities to encourage, equip, empower, and engage our young people through conversations, team-building activities, and testimonies to remember the hope that we were given by our Lord Jesus Christ. We can’t wait for your teenagers to discover the practical ways that following Jesus helps answer life’s biggest questions!

Curriculum — The Big Questions
The Big Questions is a four-part series designed to help your middle schooler find answers to their big questions about faith, identity, belonging, and purpose in Jesus. As our world opens up once again, everyone is looking to maximize opportunities and gain new perspectives in life. While your kid may not be outwardly asking questions about who they are, where they fit in, or what they’re made for in this world, they’re most definitely considering these things internally in this phase. This series will give them the foundation to build their sense of identity, purpose, and belonging as they grow and mature in faith.
Young Leaders Conference
The Young Leaders Conference is a 4-day, 3-night offsite retreat at Alliance Redwoods Conference Grounds that challenges our young leaders to grow in faith, leadership, and in community. We will be engaging in team-building activities, hiking, worship, small group discussions, and interactive messages that inspire growth. This conference retreat will be held on the 3rd and last week of YLC from June 21st to June 24th.
More detailed information will be provided at our YLC Family Welcome Event on Saturday, 5/21/2022.
Health & Safety
During YLC 2022, we will be providing weekly onsite testing for all staff and campers. The testing dates will be emailed to parents ahead of time and sign-ups will be required. Test results will be emailed to the registered email and also shared with LCHS SDC.
We encourage everyone to be fully vaccinated as vaccines are now eligible for youth ages 5 and up. It is crucial that you and your family adhere to these guidelines and restrictions in order to keep campers and staff safe.
