MEET THE SKITTLES!

Skittles consist of 3rd and 4th graders. This group is always hyper. Their constant energy always drives those around them. The Skittles’ endless amount of energy is the catalyst for the group to be sacrificial. A love that is patient, kind, and selfless is revealed through the Skittles counselors to tame these hyperactive kids. Through the constant companionship between counselor and camper, the Skittles become more than a group; they become a family that is anchored in love, compassion, friendship and respect for one another. Skittles lose something extrinsically but gain so much more intrinsically.

Praise the Lord that another year has come, and Summer Day Camp is back!

Thank you for your continuous support and prayers for our ministry. We are all very excited to get another summer where we can come together and serve the Lord. Every year, I am always most excited to see how God is working within those who choose to participate in this ministry. It is always a blessing to witness how throughout each year, God provides such great counselors. Each year, I wonder when it will be my last time serving in the ministry. However, God has continued to give me the heart to serve for His glory. This summer I am excited to go back to rejoining Skittles after a year of serving on the admin team. I am energized by being back with the 3rd and 4th graders, as it is the group I am most comfortable with. I am always surprised to see how much God can work with kids as young as them. I hope God will able to use me to be able to communicate with the kids, and that the one year away from them hasn’t affected me too much.

Hello Everyone !

My name is Terilyn and I have been part of the Summer Day Camp ministry for the past two years. This past year I have been given the opportunity to become part of the Skittles group, which I am thrilled to work with! My personal goal for this year's camp is to be able to share my own experiences of how God has simply shined His light on me to show me my purpose in this world. This year's focus is to help these Skittles see their own purpose in this world and what God has made them for. Summer Day Camp this year will be filled with lots of new experiences, stepping out of comfort zones, and most importantly, lots of laughters!

Can’t wait for what God has in plan for us as a group and as a camp!
