MEET THE FACILITY TEAM!

Starbursts are the oldest members consisting of 7th and 8th graders. This is also the age group that diverges into the Young Leaders Camp within Summer Day Camp. Starbursts are prepared to learn and become the leaders of tomorrow. They are trained through difficult challenges that require teamwork, abstract thinking, and getting their hands dirty. This preparation breeds the Starbursts to be diligent. Their willingness to humbly take on tasks and do it with a one hundred percent effort is what will transform the Starbursts from campers to inspirational leaders. Starbursts are the helpers and workers of today, but the mentors, inspirers, and leaders of tomorrow. 

My name is Eugene and I'm leading facility for SDC 2017.

I'm passionate about working with middle schoolers and seeing them grow spiritually. I came to faith by realizing how much I have changed and knowing how God has been working alongside of me ever since I was growing up. I became part of this faith community by mentoring middle schoolers throughout the year. Some of my hobbies are fixing cars and working with my hands.
